About us:

Ominous has been around since mid Burning Crusade, starting as a guild called Nexus on Dath’Remar. Since these humble beginnings we have continually strived to better our performance and standards.

Today we still strive to become the best raiders we can be. We look for players who accept nothing less than playing their toon to the highest standards, players with great raid awareness who take responsibility and have great pride in performance. Players that wish to raid with likeminded people to test and challenge ourselves as a team in the toughest content wow has to offer and to do so in mature, constructive and respectful surroundings.

We believe if we take care for what we have control over, then our guild’s standing/ ranking will take care of itself. However, we do believe that the level of commitment and performance we strive for should make us a top class oceanic guild, this is our goal.

Ominous offers a commitment to excellence while offering sociable surroundings in which players can better enjoy their gaming time.

Raiding Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday

Raiding times(server time):

8.15pm : be online
8.25pm : In raid/EP handed out
8.30pm : kill stuff!

Ventrilo: Communication is vital for raiding, do you have vent and a working headset/mic?
Please list current and previous guilds. What do you think you'll bring to Ominous? What do you hope to get from Ominous?
Any previous raiding experience? Please list. Also include any other games you've taken seriously.
Do you have dual spec, if so how would you describe your gear and skill for it?
DPS: Discuss your typical rotations for single and multiple targets?
Tanks: Discuss single/ multi target tanking rotations. How you maximise threat and mitigate damage ect
Healers: Discuss the use of your main spells inc dispelling, strengths/ weakness of your class.
We discuss up coming boss fights, strategies, tips, tricks or anything raiding in our forums. Would you be inclined to visit the guild forums every few days?
Have you registered with this site? Since apps are kept private you wont be able to see it, so communication will need to be via our forum PM system
